Butter Rice Krispies Treats
Healthy Rice Krispie Treats made with peanut butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and brown rice krispies. These vegan and gluten free treats are topped with dark chocolate and sea salt for an indulgent treat that tastes just like a crunchy peanut butter cup. Options to add a bit of protein powder to make these a great post workout treat!
Sometimes the best kind of treats are the ones you haven’t made in FOREVER. That includes the very famous rice krispie treats that were always in lunch boxes and at your aunt’s house during family birthday parties.
Ingredients

1 cup Crunchy
Peanut Butter
·
6 tbsp Honey
·
1/8 tsp Salt
·
3 cups Rice
Krispies
·
1
1/2 cups Melted Vegan Chocolate Chips
Instructions
1.
Put
muffin liners in muffin pan. Spray liners with non-stick spray.
2.
Melt
peanut butter, honey, and salt together on low heat for a few minutes. Stir in
Rice Krispies until well mixed.
3.
Evenly
distribute mixture into sprayed muffin liners. Press mixture down firmly.
4.
Melt
chocolate on low heat. (If using a microwave, stir every 30-60 seconds until
melted.) Use a spoon to cover each cup with melted chocolate.
5.
Put
in the refrigerator until firm.
